eGov Consulting is a consulting firm founded by Carsten Loesch who has 24 years experience with digitalisation in Denmark. This experience has been gained through employment at the consulting firm Accenture, the Danish Ministry of Finance (eGovernment Unit), the Danish Business Authority, and as CEO of eGov Consulting.

Internationally eGov Consulting mainly offers consulting services on eGovernment strategy and on internet portals.

In 2000-2002 Carsten helped build the Danish health portal www.sundhed.dk. In 2005/2006 Carsten was head of the Danish eGovernment Unit. From 2007-2012 Carsten was responsible for the Danish business portal www.virk.dk.

Carsten has been responsible for formulating the "Danish eGovernment Strategy 2007-2010", and for the business part of the "Danish eGovernment Strategy 2011-2015".

The last 9 years Carsten has worked as an independent consultant on numerous Danish digitalisation projects, and has held positions as Head of Division on it-development, it-operations as well as it-support. Carsten has also held positions as Project Manager using both PRINCE2 and SCRUM.

Carsten has given presentations on eGovernment in countries such as / for delegations from: Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Dubai, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, USA and others.

Carsten holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, and a Master in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
